Split PDF
Add a PDF, click pages to select, then choose to combine or split. Files never leave your device.
How it works
- Drop a PDF into the upload area and wait for the page thumbnails to render.
- Click thumbnails to select the pages you want. Shift-click to pick a range.
- Choose 'Combine into a single PDF' to extract selected pages into one file, or 'Split into separate files' for a ZIP with one PDF per range.
- Click Split. The download starts automatically.
- Everything stays on your device — pages are extracted locally, never uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
How do I split a PDF into individual pages?
Click 'Select all', then choose 'Split into separate files (ZIP)'. You'll get a ZIP file with one PDF per page.
How do I extract just specific pages?
Click each page thumbnail you want, then choose 'Combine into a single PDF'. The output is a single PDF containing only those pages, in the order you clicked them.
What's the difference between extract and split?
Extract gives you one PDF containing your selected pages. Split gives you a ZIP with one PDF per contiguous selected range (e.g. pages 1–3, 5, 7–9 becomes three separate PDFs in the ZIP).
Will splitting preserve the original quality?
Yes — we copy pages verbatim, including fonts, images, and annotations. No re-encoding, no quality loss.
What's the maximum number of pages I can split?
Hundreds work fine on most laptops. The bottleneck is rendering thumbnails (your browser does that locally too), not the split itself.
