Crop PDF
Drop a PDF, drag a rectangle on the preview to keep just that area. Use one crop for every page or a different crop per page. Files never leave your device.
How it works
- Drop a PDF into the upload area and wait for the large preview to render.
- Drag a rectangle on the preview to mark the area you want to keep. Drag the handles to resize, or drag inside to move it. Choose 'Square' to constrain it.
- Pick 'Every page (one crop)' to apply the same area everywhere, or 'Each page individually' to draw a different crop per page.
- Use the page arrows or the filmstrip to move between pages and check the crop.
- Click 'Crop PDF' to download. Everything stays on your device — nothing is uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Does cropping delete the content outside the area?
Cropping sets each page's CropBox — the visible region every viewer and printer honors. The data outside is hidden, not re-encoded, so quality is untouched and the change is clean.
Can I use a different crop on each page?
Yes. Choose 'Each page individually', then navigate with the arrows or filmstrip and draw a crop on each page you want to trim. Pages you leave alone keep their full size.
How do I crop to a perfect square?
Switch the shape to 'Square' before dragging. The selection stays square as you draw or resize from a corner.
Does it work on rotated pages?
Yes — the crop you draw on the preview maps to the right region even when a page has a 90°, 180°, or 270° rotation.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The preview and the crop both run locally in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.
