Built for real recordings — including multilingual ones
Most transcription tools assume one speaker, one language. Real recordings aren’t like that. This tool handles:
- Dozens of languages, detected automatically. Leave the language selector on auto-detect and each passage is identified on its own. If the whole recording is in one language, picking it explicitly squeezes out a bit more accuracy.
- Recordings that switch languages. A speaker and their interpreter, a bilingual class, a meeting that drifts between French and English — each language is split into its own labelled, color-coded track, both in the on-screen preview and in the PDF.
- A layout that fits the content. Choose continuous (turn by turn, in order), two columns (language | language, side by side — ideal for speaker-plus-interpreter), or main language with notes (the dominant language as body text, other passages as notes).
Listen while you read
After transcription, the recording appears in an inline player, and the transcript is linked to it: click any segment to jump the audio straight to that moment. It’s the fastest way to double-check a passage before you export — no scrubbing back and forth.
You can also include timestamps in the export, so every segment in the PDF carries its position in the recording — handy for minutes, subtitling prep, or citing a quote back to the exact minute.
Two speed modes
- Fast — good quality, quickest results. Fine for most everyday recordings.
- High quality — best accuracy, a little slower. Worth it for noisy rooms, heavy accents, or anything you’ll publish.
Both modes draw from the same free monthly minutes.
A nice touch for Arabic content
Recordings that include recited Quran verses get special treatment: verses are recognized, matched against the authentic text, and shown with their exact wording plus a Surah:Ayah reference. Common invocations are typeset in their proper form. This runs automatically on Arabic content — nothing to configure.
What about privacy?
We’re upfront about this one, because it’s different from our other tools: transcription needs more computing power than a browser can offer, so the audio is sent securely to our server — for transcription only — and is not kept afterwards. The transcript and the PDF are then assembled locally in your browser. You need to be signed in to use the tool.

- Pro: $7/month with 200 credits included (1 credit = 1 minute of audio) — about 3 hours of premium transcription monthly, and credits never expire.
How to use it
- Sign in, then open Audio to PDF and upload a recording.
- Leave the language on auto-detect — or pick one if the whole recording is in a single language.
